why Kotler was didn't afraid when he go to war ? He was counting on it that he would kill a lot of people?

Kotler might have been afraid but he really tried hard not to show it. Kotler put a lot of effort into showing that he was a tough and hard Nazi. Inside he was pretty insecure.
