In what ways did Bruno only see what he wanted to see?

Are you referring to the idea that he did not realize what was actually going on in the camp until much later in the book?

Yes... I have onee example - he portrays his father as a great soldier even though he is obviously a bad person - he sees him as good but its actually the opposite.
