The Boy in the Striped Pajamas

Historical Accuracy Of The Boy in the Striped Pajamas?

"Be as specific as possible as to what was fact and what was fiction in the film (Go for at least two examples for each)"

I've been searching for this forever and can't find anything :( would really appreciate if anyone knows.

I think this film was researched pretty well. The popularity of the book as well as the sensitive nature of the subject matter meant the filmmakers had to be accurate. Certainly, the wardrobe as well as the cinematography reflected WW2 and Nazi Germany. The book itself was fictional but based on factual history of the era. The clothes, cars, trains....all looked pretty authentic.
