Grandfather

Grandfather kept the peace. He tried to keep his wife from addressing topics of conflict, he was proud of his son's advancement and position, and he resented the punishments inflicted upon Germany after WWI. He was loved his country and supported his son's part in what he believed would bring pride back to the German people. Grandmother did not share his opinions, and unlike Grandfather was extremely vocal.
