Did a nine-year-old son of a Nazi know what a Jew was?

The reason I ask this is because on most sources I've been using they have been debating on this subject.

Bruno certainly did not know the context behind which Jews were seen by the Nazi party. He must have known what a Jew was given the Nazi propaganda at the time.
