The Boy in the Striped Pajamas

3. How does Boyne use indirect characterization in the early chapters to paint a portrait of Bruno’s father, even when he’s not present in the scene?

Boyne uses indirect characterization when he talks about what he does and his uniform and how he is "The Boss", like how Mother went to the office which is "Out of Bounds" and she started to yell at him and he yelled louder at her which stopped the conversation.
