Death finds Liesel to be a very brave girl, and he highly credits her innate courage in the face of Man's humanity. His feeling about Liesel are proof that he knows those he takes inside and out, and the fact that he thinks so highly of her ability to move beyond and survive are a testament to Liesel herself.
