What was the real reason for the long forced walk to Dachau? What does this tell us of the mindset of the young German soldiers?

The soldiers want to see the Jews suffer. They want them to die in such a way as to put their last moments on display. This insidious evil was part of the Nazi mindset. It was a part of Hitler's ethnic cleansing policy, his final solution. The soldiers were part of this disease.
