Himmel Street, the name of the Hubermann's street in Molching translates to Heaven. This is ironic because the street was anything but Heaven during the war.

Whoever named Himmel Street has a healthy sense of irony. Not that it was a living hell. It wasn't. But it sure wasn't heaven, either.
