How does Death feel about having to collect all of the dead during the war?

This is his job. Although Death has human emotions, he is rather pragmatic about his job. He is surprised, even weary but does not break down under stress, sadness...Death makes discoveries about human nature but avoids judgments about what he does and why he does it.
