Death’s Diary: The Parisians

On page 349, Death says, “For me, the sky was the color of Jews,” but what color does that make the sky? Explain your response.

Death's answet is metaphorical. There were so many Jewish deaths that the sky was filled by those who'd been gased or burned in the camps. Death isn't referring to a color.... he is referring to a people.
