The Book Thief

"A few cars drove by, each way. Their drivers were Hitlers and Hubermanns, and Maxes, killers, Dillers, and Steiners..." What does this mean?

Thank you

This comes later in the book after Death comes for Liesel in Australia. He takes Liesel to Anzak Avenue and we see this quote. The names are all of the dead. Surprisingly everybody, including Hitler, seems to be in the same place. Is this a vision of the afterlife? We wonder why Hitler is in the same place as others. Most of us would like to see him in his own special Hell. Zusak leaves us much to think about.
