What different meanings might the title of the chapter have for Turtle and for Taylor?

Turtle gets attacked when Edna had taken her to the park. The "terrible night" takes on the greater significance of Turtle's revisitation to her terrible past. The night is the ever-present darkness that lurks behind the light of life and stability that Taylor is trying to create for Turtle.
