Charity enhances one's relationship to all people. Charity, working for the good of others and helping others, is a way to ensure that mankind as a whole is moving forward toward that which gives an improvement in life. To be charitable throughout one's life means that a person cares less about himself than other people and thus helps those who need help. To do for others ultimately enhances one's life because it is good to be less selfish.
