The Alchemist (Coelho)

Does it appear that the hero has conquered life in both the familiar and unfamiliar worlds?

Since the hero typically begins the journey to solve a problem, does it appear the problem is at last resolved so that all can live freely?

Yes, through his journey Santiago learns that conquering both the familiar and unfamiliar worlds are simply a matter of listening to the world around him, listening to others, and listening to his own heart. In the end, he comes to understand that his treasure was always right in front of him..... his treasure was home.
