Huck basically wants to get rid of his warts. Huck is taking the dead cat to the cemetery because he believes the superstition that, when Satan comes to the cemetery to gather the corpses of evil persons, the cat will follow Satan, and so will his warts. This illustrates Huck's penchant for the supernatural beliefs.
