1. Jim is Aunt Polly's slave.

2.) he has to work on a Saturday.

3.) Aunt Polly blames Tom for breaking the sugar bowl; Sid blames him too.

I'll be back to finish these

3) She not only thinks he broke the bowl but raises her hand to slap him.

4) she alludes to to her error, but then brushes it off by saying that she was sure he'd done some mischief that day, which would warrant it.

"Umf! Well, you didn't get a lick amiss, I reckon. You been into some other audacious mischief when I wasn't around, like enough."

5. What is the mental conflict between Aunt Polly and Tom in this chap?

Tom never does what he’s told and Aunt Polly never expects him to……….. they’re at odds with right and wrong and just doing the right thing.

6. What is Aunt Polly doing this Sunday morning?

Family worship

7. What are two things Tom hates (Remember its Sunday morning)?

Cleaning up, dressing up, and going to Sunday school.

8. What does Tom do once at the church?

He trades for tickets; the Sunday school super. Gives out a Bible for a specific amount of tickets (issued for verse memorization), and Tom figures this is the easiest way to get his.
