why does pap yell at huck for becoming civilized? is he right?

Pap resents the fact that Huck has made more of a life than himself. Pap's tirade is rather ironic considering that Huck prefers the freedom to wander over life with Miss Wastson and the Widow Douglass .Pap interprets Huck's new living situation as being "civilized". This is something that Pap never even tried to give his son or even himself.
