What does Pap want from Huck? How does he plan on getting it?

Pap goes to Judge Thatcher and tries to make the Judge give him Huck's money. The Judge refuses, and he and the widow take a case to court in an effort to get Huck legally placed with one of them. Pap then wants to take custody of Huck to get at Huck's money.
