The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn

What could Huck's description of the storm foreshadow?

Huck describes the evening of the duke and king's arrival: "Towards night it began to darken up and look like rain; the heat lightning was squirting around, low down in the sky, and the leaves were beginning to shiver-- it was going to be pretty ugly, it was easy to see that."

There is nothing good about the King and Duke. They arrive into the story, a metaphorical storm that would upend the lives of Huck and Jim. The weather in your quote is quite suitable foreshadowing these two charlatans.
