The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn

huckleberry fin

Despite the intentions of those who want to "civilize" Huck, who in the story is most in need of being civilized?

I suppose that Pap would be near the top of that list. Huck's father had no morals and few, if any, positive traits. He was a vicious drunk who only wanted his son back for the money Huck had won. The Duke and King were also in need of some civilized values and morals. These two charlatans preyed on the weak and vulnerable.
