hey do any of you know any important quotes that are related to any of the following:
1. racism and slavery
2. Hypocrisy of society
3. Friendship and freedom
4. Education:  intelectual or moral.

Example of racism:"'It warn't the grounding-that didn't keep us back but a little. We blowed out a cylinder-head.' 'Good gracious! Anybody hurt?' 'No'm killed a nigger.' 'Well, it's lucky; because sometimes people do get hurt.'"

for moral education, flip to the final chapters where huck and tom try to free jim using a spoon - there are some great quotes from huck at that point.

For hypocrisy, you can use Twain's antagonism towards religion - he makes fun of the way the widow and Ms. Watson are always praying and claiming to be riteous, while barely living up to the standards they expect from other people:

"I went out in the woods and turned it over in my mind a long time, but I couldn't see no advantage about it--except for the other people"
