Hyperbole is exaggerated statements or claims not meant to be taken literally. Junior uses hyperbole a lot in his humour and his drawings. He is actually using hyperbole to satirize life on the reserve. Junior uses it to make statements about culture and inequality. Sometimes his hyperbole is self-deprecating. Junior uses it as a coping mechanism to survive life on the reserve.
