Does the use of Indian mascots have negative consequences, or are they harmless graphics that honor Native Americans? Explain.

I think that the use of caricatures of any race is hurtful. One can dismiss them as harmless fun but I think the Mascots affect the identity of the people being represented. There is hurt, even at a subconscious level, that their ethnicity is being made a joke of. Junior certainly finds the irony in this but he uses his sense of humour, which can be dark, to reconcile his feelings.
