The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian

Compare the illustration styles in the first part of the section with those at the end of the section. What does each style say about Junior's mood? (The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian "Hunger Pains")

What style say about Junior's mood???

I love the illustration changes. His first ones are goofy and animated. They represent his pain but also his sense of humour. His latter ones are filled with realism and art. The one of Penelope gives us a sense that Junior is maturing and understanding beauty in life.
