According to Plank's theory, the higher the frequency, the greater the quantum of energy. As we know that a black body has only a finite amount of energy, it cannot supply the large amount of energy required to produce an extremely high frequency quantum jump and as a result, the amount of radiation at high frequency drops towards zero.
