Chapter 9 - Think and Rank - Page 178-179: 49

Answer

Microtidal forces on body, greatest to least: B, A, C.

Work Step by Step

The relevant factor is the difference in gravitational force exerted on one side of your body vs. the other. The width of your body, compared to the average distance between you and the sun/Earth/moon, determines the microtidal effect. The larger the ratio, the larger the effect. The Earth is closest to you, followed by the moon, followed by the sun. This is discussed on page 168.
