Chapter 27 - Think and Explain - Page 517-518: 40

Answer

Red. Red. Black.

Work Step by Step

Red cloth absorbs the complementary color to red (cyan), reflecting red light. It appears red in sunlight. It also appears red when illuminated by red light (it reflects all the light, and absorbs nothing). It appears black when illuminated by cyan light, because it absorbs that light, and there is no "red" light to reflect. This is discussed on pages 505-506 and 509-511.
