Chapter 25 - Think and Explain: 60

Answer

The voltage output increases.

Work Step by Step

Faraday's Law states that the voltage induced in a coil is proportional to the number of loops in the coil, multiplied by the area of each of those loops, multiplied by the rate at which the magnetic field changes within those loops. This is discussed on page 472. When the generator spins faster, the third factor increases, and the voltage output increases.
