Chapter 18 - Think and Discuss - Page 353: 84

Answer

Heat is generated by your brain, and some of this heat can be carried away by circulating blood. As a result, the blood exiting the brain is expected to be warmer than the blood entering the brain. If your body overheats, this will affect the brain's cooling system, and may reduce your ability to concentrate.
