Chapter 5 - The Lipids: Triglycerides, Phospholipids, and Sterols - Critical Thinking Questions - Page 169: B

Answer

Dietary fats are healthy for the body and especially for the heart and circulatory system. Consuming dietary fats, and avoiding other kinds of unhealthier fats reduces the amount of cholesterol that is formed inside your body. Cholesterol is good for the body but in a healthy amount. Too much cholesterol clogs the blood vessels in the body slowing down or stopping blood circulation. Diverse diets can have such similar outcomes because a lot of the time, diets restrict a certain nutritional element like gluten for example, which causes a similar effect even if the diets require completely different foods to be eaten.
