a) From the name of the compound, it is clear that an isopropyl group is present as a substitute in the benzene ring. One H atom of benzene is substituted by one isopropyl group. This is an example of a monosubstituted benzene. b) From the name of the compound, it is clear that two bromine atoms (as the name suggests 'dibromo') are present as substitute in meta position (1,3 position of benzene ring). c) From the name of the compound, it is clear that one bromine and one ethyl group are present in the benzene ring as substitute in 1 and 4 position of the benzene ring respectively.
