Answer

You should test the time that contraction strength lasts. Fast twitch fibers give fast, short duration contractions, while slow twitch give slowly rising, long lasting contractions. Muscles which are a mix of these two kinds of fibers have an intermediate time to maximal contraction and duration of contraction.
