Tricusped Valve - is aone way valve directing the blood from right atrium to right ventricle. - it is composed of 3 cusps ( leaflets ) attached peripherally to afibrous ring, one at the side of each wall: anterior, septal & posterior. - each cusp receives chordae tendineae from 2 papillary muscles : i- anterior cusp : from anterior & septal muscles. ii- septal cusp : from septal & posterior muscles. iii- posterior cusp : from posterior & anterior muscles. - also called " the Right Atrioventricular Valve".
