Answer

An automobile has organization; it can move; it can generate energy, and it is collection of parts. This does not mean it is a living organism. A car cannot of itself maintain an optimal environment ; it cannot reproduce, differentiate or grow. Therefore, it is not a living organism.

Work Step by Step

A living thing must have the property of irritability : it must be able to perceive and respond appropriately to external and internal stimuli. A living organism has set points or set ranges of conditions that are supportive of its survival and and growth. It is able to modify or moderate those conditions to support its growth differentiation, survival, and reproduction.
