Every individual has a 1/40th chance of selection. Once a subject between 1 and 40 is selected, then every 40th subject is selected. In SRS, every indivudual has same chance of selection, however in Systematic sampling, once an individual is selected, then every kth individual is chosen and the inviduals between have no chance of selection
