Chapter 1 - Section 1.9 - The Coordinate Plane; Graphs of Equations; Circles - 1.9 Exercises - Page 102: 15

Answer

See Graph image.

Work Step by Step

Part A is everything equal to and greater than 2 on the x plane and y isn't specified. Positive numbers for x go to the right so we make our graph and color in everything equal to 2 and color everything to the right. For part B it says y is equal to 2 but does not specify x. Positive y numbers move upward so we put a mark at two. Unlike part A it's only 2, not 2+ so we just run that line left and right across x because x is not specified.
