Celsius is widely accepted measuring unit for temperature, however, few countries like the USA which are still using the English system of measurement prefers Fahrenheit over Celsius. All over the world, Celsius is widely accepted. Moreover, in Celsius, it is easy to communicate and remember the temperature.
For Example: Water freezes at \[0\]° and it boils at \[100\]°. This gives a scale of \[100\] to measure the hotness or coldness of anything. However, in Fahrenheit there is a scale of \[180\]° with very odd formal reference point like ware freezes at \[32\]°. Country who adopted metric system also adopted Celsius as a temperature measure because of the same reason that it is easy to communicate or convert.
