Chapter 9 - Measurement - 9.2 Measuring Area and Volume - Exercise Set 9.2 - Page 595: 89

Answer

People belonging to same class lives in the similar society.

Work Step by Step

It can be generally observed that poor people live in the very congested area because they cannot afford larger land or houses. Also, it is a very common perception that the area where very poor people lives become a cheaper place that attracts even more poor people because of the affordability. Moreover, other classes of community keep a distance from these places leading to accumulation of extremely poor people at that place. Similar is the case with extremely rich people. They try to shift to important and costly areas and not among other classes of people. This leads to their accumulation in some specific areas. However, both the cases are similar but in case of poor people population density is very high but in case of rich people it is lower.
