Self-similarity is a word used to define the character of an object when it looks similar or the pattern is repeating in the whole object. This repetition of the pattern is only approximate, that appear similar. There are many objects in the nature that shows the characteristic of self-similarity such as, leaves, peacock feathers, galaxies, clouds etc. These objects in nature show self-similarity mean they repeat the pattern that looks similar which is known as recursion that generates the same and repeating pattern.
