Chapter 10 - Geometry - 10.2 Triangles - Exercise Set 10.2 - Page 628: 33

Answer

The figure shows that the triangle I and the triangle II both contain equal sides marked with one tick and two ticks. The lengths of two sides of triangle I are equal to the lengths of the corresponding sides of triangle II but third side or angle is not shown equal. Hence, the two triangles are not congruent. Hence, \[\Delta \text{I and }\Delta \text{II}\]are not congruent as one more equal side or angle is required to prove that these two triangles are congruent.
