Chapter 6 - Section 6.1 - Circles and Related Segments and Angles - Exercises - Page 288: 37

Answer

When an angle is inscribed in a circle, its value is equal to half of the value of the arc that intersects it. The measure of the arc is constant regardless of where the angle intersects it. Therefore, since the measures of each angle are both half of the same number, it follows that they are congruent.
