Appendix A - A.4 - Quadratic Equations - Exercises - Page 560: 4d

Answer

$2x^{2}-4=2x^{2}+8x$ isn't even a Quadratic equation, so it could be considered as an Incomplete Quadratic Equation.

Work Step by Step

Once simplified, the equation would be: $8x+4$. This isnt a Quadratic equation becuase the highest exponential term is the "x-term" and not the $"x^{2}-term"$
