The multiplication property of zero holds that $a\times0=0\times a=0$, where a is a real number. In other words, the property tells us that the product of a real number and 0 will be 0. In this example, we can set $0\times a=0\times(-5.4)$, where $a=-5.4$. Therefore, the other side of this equation is 0.
