Chapter R - Section R.1 - Real Numbers - R.1 Assess Your Understanding - Page 16: 36

Answer

a. 1 b. 1

Work Step by Step

When rounding you just round to the nearest whole number. When rounding three decimal places you count 3 numbers after the decimal and if that number is above 5 then round the 2nd number after the decimal place up a number, if it is below 5 then leave the 2nd number after the decimal place as is.
