While it is true that the product of any number and 0 is 0, that is not what the Zero-Product Property states. The Zero-Product Property states that if the product of two numbers (say a and b) is 0, then at least one of the numbers (a or b) must be zero. So, for example if you know X*(X-4)=0, then either X=0 or X-4=0 or both.
