What did Paul learn at the meeting at his house?

Paul learns the the Homeowner's group is angry about Mr. Donnelly's lightning rod, that they're trying to figure out who is stealing fish from the pond, and that they're concerned about the muck fires. The muck fires present a difficult problem in that their treatment of the fires the previous year served to bring multitudes of mosquitoes.
