Mr. and Mrs. Fisher set up a meeting to tell the neighbors that Erik and Arthur have been breaking into houses and stealing valuables. Do you think they are finally trying to hold Erik responsible for his actions or are they still protecting him and not holding him accountable?

In my opinion, Paul's parents, particularly his mother, are holding Erik accountable. The robberies and the evidence, in addition to Paul's memories make it impossible for her to continue in a state of self denial.
