1) If you plan to improve your house (planting trees included), you must first have it approved by the Architectural Committee.

2) Everyone's land is surrounded by the same picket fence.

3) All houses had to follow one of four home plans.

Paul's mother liked it because she thought it would improve the value of her house and it looked good.
