Jerry Cruncher is funny when we look at him in terms of being a family man. He and his wife have a volatile relationship.... he finds all of her best qualities the same qualities he complains about. He doesn't believe in religion, but he has a keen fear of the power of prayer.... especially his wife's

Jerry is serious about his occupation and the secrecy it necessitates.
